Coaching Staff

Head Coach: Will Nord, 1st Season (wnord@rosemont.edu)
 
 

Will Nord steps into the head coach position for the 2009 inaugural season. Nord comes to Rosemont after serving as the head coach of the FC Delco under 17 boys team. The club is ranked sixth in the nation for Youth Soccer Clubs. In 2007, Nord’s team finished third in the country. In addition, Nord serves as the assistant coach for the varsity soccer team at Bayard Rustin High School in West Chester, Pa. The school was founded in 2006 and Nord was an aid in building the program. The team made the district playoffs in its first three years.        

Nord began his coaching career in 2000 as the head coach for the under 9 “A” boys travel team, of which he still coaches. In 2003, he accepted the men’s soccer varsity head coach position at Cardinal O’Hara. In his three years there, he coached the team to three consecutive Catholic League Playoffs and has had 18 All-League selections including All-State and League MVP players.

Nord graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s College in 1999 with a degree in History. He currently works as a head teacher for the Gladwyne Montessori School. He resides in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.


Assistant Coach: Rasheed Epps, 1st Season (repps@rosemont.edu)
 

Rasheed Epps will be assisting Nord in his first season. Epps brings a lot of experience to the table. He currently serves as a coach and trainer for Lower Merion Soccer Club. He started there in 2003. During that time, he was also the assistant coach at the Church Farm School from 2003-2006.

As for his playing career, Epps was a two-year member of the Millersville University men’s soccer team from 1990-92. After, he assisted in the development of the Millersville University women’s club soccer team of which he was the head coach for a year in 1993.

Epps is licensed as a ‘D” national coach for the Eastern PA Youth Soccer Association and will be receiving his National Soccer Coaches Association of America Advanced Regional Diploma this summer.

Currently, Epps works for Fiserv, a data safe division in King of Prussia, Pa. He lives in Havertown, Pa with his wife Nicole.
