16 STUDENT-ATHLETES REPRESENT ON CSAC 2008 FALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

ROSEMONT – 16 Rosemont student-athletes earned their way onto this year’s Colonial States Athletic Conference’s (CSAC) Fall 2008 All-Academic Team. The team is comprised of fall-sport, student-athletes who managed a GPA of 3.2 or higher for the semester while maintaining varsity status. In total, 463 CSAC student-athletes of the twelve member institutions made the cut this fall. Of the 16 student-athletes from Rosemont on the list, six were from field hockey and volleyball and four were from tennis. In addition, seven were repeat honorees from the 2007 team.

From the field hockey team, juniors Laura Kyle (Doylestown /CB East), Nichole Liccio (Mantua, N.J./Friends Select), Lindley Rittweger (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh) and Disha Shah (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow) and first years Caitlin Edgar (Brown Mills, N.J./Pemberton) and Elizabeth Goodwin (Blandon./Fleetwood) all made the cut.

Representing on the volleyball team was senior Tofunmi Osundeko (DuBois), juniors Jessica Demaskey (West Chester /West Chester East) and Janise Henderson (Greenwood, Del./Sussex Tech) and first years Christa Bednarek (Philadelphia/St. Basil’s), Karen Boyle (Swarthmore, PA/Archbishop Prendergast), and Monica Jasienski (Philadelphia/Bishop Shanahan).

Rounding out the list from the tennis team was senior Jessica Williams (Ardmore/Archbishop Carroll) and first years Eleanor Monahan (Gettysburg/Delone Catholic), Winnie Wolfe (Wayne/Radnor), and Rebecca Zimmerman (Lebanon/Annville Cleona).
