KING OF PRUSSIA – Despite a goal from junior co-captain Ashley Conti (Little Falls, N.J./Passaic Valley), the Rosemont College field hockey team dropped a conference match 6-1 to Cabrini College Saturday. This loss drops the team to 1-9 overall and 1-4 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
Conti’s goal came in the 69th minute of play off a pass from first year Chelsea Reeve (Pennsuaken, N.J./Pennsuaken). This is Conti’s second goal of the year and Reeve’s first assist.
Senior goalkeeper Adriann Demchenko (Philadelphia/George Washington) recorded 18 saves on the afternoon off of 28 Cavalier shots.
Rosemont will next travel to Cedar Crest College for a conference match on Saturday, October 17th at 1pm.
