LANGHORNE – Despite a goal from first year Rodney Aguirre (Hammonton/Oakcrest), the Rosemont College men’s soccer team lost to conference opponent Philadelphia Biblical University 4-1 Wednesday. This loss drops the team to 5-7 overall and 3-5 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
The Crimson Eagles jumped out to a 2-0 lead scoring in the 16th and 25th minutes. They would tack on one more in the 60th before Aguirre put Rosemont on the board in the 73rd. The possibility of a comeback was short lived as Philadelphia Biblical scored just two minutes later ending the game 4-1.
Goalkeeper Ron Vogelei (Bensalem) stopped seven off of 20 shots.
In total, the Ravens notched 15 shots and two corner kicks.
Rosemont will look to bounce back as they travel to Marywood University on Saturday, October 24 at 1pm
