CSAC ANNOUNCES 2008 SPRING ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

ROSEMONT – 11 Rosemont student-athletes were included in this year’s Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) All-Academic Team for the winter and spring of 2007-2008. The team is comprised of winter and spring student-athletes who managed a GPA of 3.2 or higher for the semester while maintaining varsity status. 462 CSAC student-athletes made the cut this fall. Of the 11 Rosemont student-athletes to make the list, six were from basketball and five were from softball. 

From the basketball team, senior Andrea Boyle (Swarthmore/Cardinal O’Hara), sophomores Adriann Demchenko (Philadelphia/George Washington) and Janise Henderson (Greenwood, Del./Sussex Tech), and first years Amira Alexander (Philadelphia/JR Masterman), Christa Bednarek (Philadelphia/St. Basils), and Karen Boyle (Swarthmore/Archbishop Prendergast) all earned the honor. 

Representing on the softball team were seniors Kristen Reilly (Pottstown/Boyertown) and Kaitlin Rogers (Philadelphia/Bartram), juniors Tammy Do (Philadelphia/St. Maria Gorretti) and Abigail Schwartz (Haddonfield/Haddon Twp.) and first year Karen Boyle. Boyle was Rosemont’s only three sport athlete and was named to the All-Academic Teams in all three sports.
