ROSEMONT, Pa- The Rambler softball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader today versus Centenary College by final scores of 2-15 and 1-30. The losses drop Rosemont’s overall record to 0-21 and 0-16 in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference.
In the first inning of the opener, the Ramblers got on the board when junior Emily Montanez (Philadelphia, Pa/Frankford) hit an RBI double into left center scoring first year Karen Boyle (Swarthmore, Pa/Archbishop Prendergast). First year Kris Muff (Upper Darby, Pa/Archbishop Prendergast) had an RBI single to score the Rambler’s second run. Muff finished the day with two hits.
In game two, junior Tammy Do (Philadelphia, Pa/Maria Gorretti) notched the only hit and scored the only run off a Cyclone error.
In addition, senior Kaitlin Rogers (Philadelphia, Pa/Bartram) had two hits on the day.
