DEMCHENKO AND KEMP GET ALL-PAC HONORS

Rosemont, PA – After a season filled with filled with many breakthrough performances, two Rambler field hockey players are getting some recognition from the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) in the end of the season awards.  Sophomore goalkeeper Adriann Demchenko (Philadelphia, PA/George Washington) was named to the All-Conference Second Team for her outstanding goalkeeping skills throughout the year.  In addition, sophomore captain Elizabeth Kemp (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

The All-Conference team is voted on by all field hockey coaches in the conference.  It is based on athletic performance throughout the season.  Demchenko led the PAC in saves with 311 as well as saves per game with 25.92.  She was 5th in the conference in save percentage with .789.  Demchenko also broke the Rosemont single-game save record notching 47 saves against Marywood University.  Her total saves for the year also broke the Rosemont record for a single season. 

The All-Sportsmanship team is comprised of one player from each team.  This player is nominated by her coach and has demonstrated good sportsmanship throughout the season.  Kemp, one of the co-captains on the team, was a strong leader for the Ramblers.  On the field she showed the utmost respect for her own players and opponents while still giving her all and having strong performances.  Kemp was the first person to score for Rosemont in 2 years.
