ASTON - An early goal in the 17th minute of play was all Neumann College needed to defeat Rosemont 1-0 in conference action Saturday. This loss drops the Ravens to 0-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference and 2-3 overall and improves the Knights to 2-3 overall and 1-0 in the CSAC.
The goal, a hard hit shot from the midfield, was the only shot that first year goalkeeper Ron Vogelei (Bensalem) allowed in the net as he recorded four saves on the afternoon off of 16 Knight shots.
Offensively, Rosemont got off seven shots, three on goal, and earned two corner kicks.
The Ravens will next take on Penn State Altoona in non-conference action Monday, September 21. Game time is 4pm and will be at Rosemont.
