KING OF PRUSSIA – The Ramblers dropped two to Cabrini College in conference action 13-0, 14-0. This loss drops the team to 0-15 overall and 0-10 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference
In game one, Rosemont threatened in the top of the first by loading the bases with one out, but failed to get any home after the next two batters struck out. Sophomore Kris Muff (Upper Darby) would get the only hit of the game in that inning as Cabrini pitcher Cheri Johns settled down and recorded the one-hit shutout.
The Ramblers had trouble in the field as they committed seven errors.
First year Caitlin Mazzoni (Middletown, Del./Middletown) pitched five innings, striking out two and giving up four earned runs.
It was a similar story in game two, with the team committing two errors and only registering one hit. Junior Adriann Demchenko (Philadelphia/George Washington) had the only hit of the game with a hard shot right back to the mound in the top of the fourth.
The team will take break for the holiday weekend before getting right back into conference action Tuesday, April 14th against Immaculata University.
