GWYNEDD- The Rosemont softball team lost two in their final games of the season against conference team Gwynedd Mercy. This ends the season for team 1-26 overall and 1-21 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
In game two, the Ramblers jumped to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when junior Adriann Demchenko (Philadelphia/George Washington) hit a double to right to score first year Becky Zimmerman (Lebanon/Annville Cleona) who got on with a two-out walk.
Demchenko finished the game two for three with an RBI. Also in the game, sophomore Karen Boyle (Swarthmore/Arch. Prendergast) finished the game two for three.
In game one, the Griffin pitching staff was too strong as it allowed no Rosemont hits or walks. Offensively they did their job as they scored 15 runs, 10 earned off of 16 hits and ended the game in five.
