Aston, Pa. – Cabrini College’s Men’s Basketball team has been selected as the pre-season favorite in The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) coaches’ poll. The 2009-2010 CSAC Champions earned a total of 95 points from the coaches.  The Cavaliers will continue to fight to defend the title for the 2010-2011 season.

"It’s nice to know that we have earned the respect of the other coaches in the conference, and that they would place us at the top," said Cabrini's head coach, Marcus Kahn.   "The reality is, that we are a work in progress and have a long way to go, with a lot of games to be played in what I think is a very competitive league. I hope that in the end we are still at the top of the rankings. Preseason is nice and gives you confidence, but it’s the end of season that counts."

Keystone College, came in second with 89 points. Gwynedd-Mercy College was selected to finish third, earning 79 points. Neumann University (69), Immaculata University (65), Centenary College (42) Marywood University (41), Rosemont College (35), and Baptist Bible College (21), and Philadelphia Biblical University (14) rounded out the voting.
