REDDY AND BANNON CAPTURE MORE HONORS FROM PAC

Rosemont, PA – Senior captain Kristy Bannon (Hanover Township, PA/Hanover) and sophomore Priyanka Reddy (Syosset, NY/Syosset) were recipients of some end-of-the-year awards from the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) in tennis.  Reddy was named Player of the Year in addition to being selected for the First Team All-Conference squad in #1 singles.  Bannon was selected to represent Rosemont on the PAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

The Player of the Year Award as well as the All-Conference Team is voted on by the coaches in the PAC institutions.  They are based on a player’s performance throughout the season.  This season, Reddy went undefeated at the #1 singles position going 12-0.  She won the PAC individual championships in #1 singles as well as was runner-up in the #1 doubles competition with fellow teammate Bannon.  This is Reddy’s second year in a row as Player of the Year as well as being names in the All-Conference Team.  She was undefeated in her first-year bring her collegiate record to a perfect 25-0.

The PAC All-Sportsmanship Team is comprised of s single player from each team that has shown good sportsmanship throughout the season.  Each institutions coach selects the player to represent the team.  Bannon was the team’s lone senior and captain this year.  Throughout the season, she demonstrated an utmost respect for her fellow teammates and opponents.  In addition, she and Reddy were a top doubles team, making it to the finals of the PAC championships.
