REDDY FALLS IN CSAC FINAL

ALLENTOWN – Junior captain Priyanka Reddy (Syosset, N.Y./Syosset) lost in the first singles final of the Colonial States Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Individual Championships Saturday at the West End Racquet Club in Allentown, Pa. 

Reddy lost to Cabrini College’s Dina DiTaranto in three sets (6-3, 4-6, 2-6). In regular season play, Reddy defeated DiTaranto in three sets. This is the first loss for Reddy in her collegiate career. She went 15-0 in the regular season and was undefeated in her freshman and sophomore years, capturing the singles title in both.

Reddy will not go home empty handed. Her runner-up honor puts her on the all-conference second team. In addition she was voted Player of the Year in the conference.
