BALTIMORE, Md. - Despite nine kills and 14 digs from junior co-captain Karen Boyle (Swarthmore/Archbishop Prendergast), the Rosemont College women's volleyball team dropped a conference match to College of Notre Dame Monday night 3-1. The Ravens drop to 5-14 overall and 0-9 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
Rosemont came out strong taking the first set 25-21. The Gators would go on to just edge out the team in the next three 25-22, 25-21, 25-23.
Junior co-captain Christa Bednarek (Philadelphia/St. Basils) had 17 assists on the night as well as 11 digs. Senior Jessica DeMaskey (West Chester/West Chester East) showed strong defense leading the team with 19 digs.
The Ravens will next host Baptist Bible College in conference action on Saturday, October 24th at 1pm.
