ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Rosemont College Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that they have hired Andrew Gottsch as their Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, effective immediately.

The physical demands of athletics on collegiate student-athletes led Rosemont to determine that there was a need to hire a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at this time to better prepare their student-athletes for the rigors of their sport, to help reduce the risk of injury and to help ensure that Rosemont’s student-athletes will perform at their peak.

Gottsch comes to Rosemont with a wealth of experience in fitness and sports performance. He is a CrossFit Coach at CrossFit Advance where he coaches and trains in exercise classes and ensures proper movement technique. He has also worked for Victory Sports Performance and Fitness assisting clients with exercises and technique and program design.

He is certified in Crossfit Trainer (Level-I), the Pennsylvania Department of Health (EMT-B) and the AHA (CPR/AED).

Coach Gottsch resides in Havertown, Pa., and he received his BS degree from Penn State University majoring in Kinesiology.
