ROSEMONT HOLDS DIG PINK EVENT FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

ROSEMONT – The Rosemont College volleyball team hosted a ‘Dig Pink’ event at their home mach versus Centenary College to help raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Research on Saturday, October 25th

The team raised $580.00 through pre-event fundraising, donations from fans as well as raffles during the event. All proceeds will go to the Side-Out Foundation which started the Dig Pink Program to help raise money and support for breast cancer research.

In addition, both Rosemont and Centenary showed their support by donning pink and white warm-up shirts. “It was a great event,” said head coach Megan Whitman. “We raised a lot of money for the Side-Out Foundation. I hope to make this an annual event for Rosemont.”
