FREDERICK, Md. - Five goals in the second half gave Hood College the cushion to defeat the Ravens 7-0 in non-conference play Friday. This loss drops Rosemont to 0-5 overall while Hood improves to 3-4.
Going into the second only two goals down, the Blazer offense went into overdrive and proceeded to push pass the Rosemont defense and put five in the net starting off in the 38th minute of play.
Senior goalkeeper Adriann Demchenko (Philadelphia/George Washington) saved 16 off of 34 shots. As a team, the Ravens got off six shots, five on goal.
Rosemont will start conference play on Sunday, September 27 when they take on Gwynedd Mercy College at 2pm at Rosemont.
