Weidensaul Named Coordinator of Athletic Operations and Student Services

The Rosemont College Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the appointment of Taylor Weidensaul as their Coordinator of Athletic Operations and Student Services.

Filling the new position she will be involved in operations and event management, recruitment liaison, advising on student-athlete welfare and assisting in the administration of NCAA Division III compliance.

Weidensaul joins the Rosemont athletics staff, most recently working as an ACHIEVE Center Assistant with Drexel University Athletics. Prior to that, she was an Operations and Facility Management Intern at Haverford College.

Taylor graduated from Drexel University with an MS in Sport Management. Her undergraduate education was at Ursinus where she graduated with a BS in Exercise and Sports Science,

Her Master’s Degree thesis involved researching student-athletes’ academic versus athletic motivation and the role of academic advisors.

Weidensaul is “excited to get started. I feel that I’m a good fit for Rosemont and I’ll help bring a lot to the table to help Rosemont Athletics grow.”

On the field, Weidensaul played field hockey for four seasons at Ursinus College. She captained the team in 2010 and was a 3-time NCAA Final Four participant, selected to the All-Region team.
