ROSEMONT – Outshooting Rosemont 34-5, Wesley College defeated the Ravens 7-0 in non-conference action Tuesday. This is the fourth straight loss for Rosemont in as many games giving them an overall record of 0-4.
The Wolverines’ Brooke Tadlock opened up the scoring with the game-winning goal in the 2nd minute of play. The team would go on to score three more in the half. Junior co-captain Ashley Conti (Little Falls, N.J./Passaic Valley) was the only Raven to get a shot off on goal in the half.
It was a better story in the second with Rosemont getting off four shots and earning two corners, but the three goals allowed in the second coupled with the first half goals proved to be insurmountable.
Senior goalkeeper Adriann Demchenko (Philadelphia/George Washington) notched 16 saves on the afternoon.
The Ravens now fall to 0-10 against Wesley in total head-to-head competitions.
Rosemont next travels to Hood College in another non-conference game on Friday, September 25th at 4pm.
