         <description><![CDATA[ROSEMONT – The Rosemont College Athletic Department has named Charles Nedzbala the head coach for the men’s and women’s varsity tennis programs.&#160;“I’m very excited for this opportunity,” said Nedzbala.&#160;“Coaching at the collegiate level has been a dream of mine for a long time.&#160;This is where I belong.”

         <description><![CDATA[ROSEMONT. – The Rosemont College men’s soccer team in conjunction with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society sponsored a ‘Kicks for Cancer’ campaign this past October.&#160;“The Kicks for Cancer event was a great opportunity&#160;for our men's soccer team,” said Head Coach Will Nord.&#160;“We were able to give back to the community and raise money for a great organization such as The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.”

         <description><![CDATA[ROSEMONT – Senior captain Priyanka Reddy (Syosset, N.Y./Syosset) was named the Colonial States Athletic Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending October 11, 2009. Reddy went 3-0 at first singles and doubles in a 1-2 week.&#160;

         <description><![CDATA[ROSEMONT – First year Olesya Kuchma (St. Davids/Radnor) was named the Colonial States Athletic Conference’s Player of the Week Honorable Mention for the week ending September 27th.&#160;Kuchma was 2-0 in second singles action and 2-0 in first doubles helping her team get key conference victories against Keystone and Baptist Bible Colleges.

         <description><![CDATA[ROSEMONT – The Rosemont College Athletic Department has named Danielle Maye the new Assistant Athletic Director and Lawrence McNamee the Assistant Athletic Trainer this past Monday.&#160;Both positions were created for the department after the college made the historic decision to transition to a coed institution.&#160;The athletics department has expanded to add three new men’s sports (basketball, soccer, and tennis) on top of the six women’s sports already in competition.
