Head Coach - Joe Long

Joseph Long enters his fifth year as head coach for the Ravens this spring. 

Long, a graduate of St. Joseph's University, started off his coaching career as head coach of Harriton High School. From there, he moved into the position of head coach for the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Long has also been the head coach for international teams such as American Express and North American Spirit, which have traveled overseas and played in countries such as France, Germany, and Holland.

Long graduated from Franklin and Pierce with a degree in archaelogy.  He was a member of the varsity baseball team as its catcher.  He also received his graduate degree from University of Pennsylvania in archaelogy.

Long currently works as the Director of Environmental and Cultural Resource Management for Ambric/Livington. He resides in Bala Cynwyd, Pa.

Assistant Coach - Jami Hughes

Assistant Coach - Jami Hughes

Hughes enters her fifth year as Long's assistant.  A graduate of Rosemont College in 2005, Hughes was a four year starter on the field hockey and softball teams, earning a captain's title her senior year of softball.  In her four years as a pitcher for the Ravens, she was an All-Conference selection four times, named to the conference sportsmanship team and a National Fastpitch Coaches Association Academic All-American.  She broke 18 school records of which she still holds 17.  

After receiving her degree in English, Hughes immediately began working for Rosemont as the Sports Information Director.  In 2009, she earned her Master's Degree from Temple University in Sport and Recreation Administration.  

In her spare time, Hughes still plays competitive softball.  She has traveled throughout Europe and Australia for national exhibition teams.

Hughes currently resides in Bucks County, Pa.
