2007-2008 Season Overview
The Rambler volleyball team had a season of highs and lows. They welcomed former player and assistant coach Megan Whitman (06’) as their new head coach as well as former player Veronica Bates (07’) as their new assistant. The Ramblers started out their season with a win, their first season opener win since 1991, and their first win since 2005. They went on to win 2 more games in the season against Penn Stat Abington and Penn State Berks shortly after. After a strong start, the Ramblers faced some tough opponents and were unable to get any more victories. They ended the season 3-16 overall and 0-11 in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC).
As a team, the Ramblers totaled 269 kills, 141 service aces and 560 digs. All of these were greatly improved from the previous season’s statistics.
