ROSEMONT – Sophomore guard Harrison Carsillo (Collingswood, N.J./Collingswood) was named the Colonial States Athletic Conference’s Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending December 13th, 2009. Carsillo led the Ravens to their first conference win against Centenary College on Monday, December 7th scoring a season high 23 points. He brought down eight boards, notched five assists and shot an impressive .750 from beyond the arc in the team’s lone game of the week.
On the season, Carsillo is leading Rosemont in scoring (11.3ppg) and rebounds (6.0 rpg). In addition, he is ranked fourth in the conference for blocked shots per game (1.0).
This is Carsillo’s first Player of the Week award as well as the team’s. Next up, Carsillo and the Ravens will travel to Eastern University on Friday, December 18th for a non-conference game at 7pm.
