Coyne Rides Tremendous Effort Earning CSAC Player-of-the-Week

ASTON, Pa. – Sophomore Liz Coyne (West Chester, Pa./Downingtown West) topped off a great all-around week on the court to earn the nod as CSAC Player-of-the-Week.

Coyne led the Ravens to three wins on the week, averaging 26.0 points and 13.7 rebounds, while shooting .592 from the field. In Monday’s non-conference win over Penn State-Berks, the sophomore posted 26 points, 11 rebounds, five steals, and four assists.

Two nights later, in a CSAC win over Notre Dame (Md.), she scored 24 points (on 11-for-15 shooting) with 14 rebounds in 24 minutes of action.

In Saturday’s victory over Neumann, Coyne wrapped up the week with 28 points and 16 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season.

Coyne’s Player-of-the-Week recognition marks the third straight week that a Rosemont women’s basketball player has won either the Player-of-the-Week or Player-of-the-Week Honor Roll for the last three consecutive weeks.
