Erin Skinner Named Head Coach of Softball at Rosemont

ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Rosemont College Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the hiring of Erin Skinner as the new head coach of their softball program.

Skinner comes to Rosemont with playing and coaching experience from her alma mater, Ursinus College, where she pitched for four years during her collegiate career. After earning her B.S. in Exercise Sports Science (’05), with a certification to teach Physical Education, she stayed on at Ursinus for five seasons as the team’s pitching coach. During her years of coaching, the Bears compiled a record of 76-19 in the Centennial Conference.

While attending Ursinus, Skinner immersed herself into the game, volunteering with community softball teams and teaching pitching to pre-teens each fall.

After graduation, coach Skinner taught Health and Physical Education to students in high school and middle school in the Spring-Ford School District.
