Justin Chaney First Man In Rosemont’s 1,000 Point Club

ROSEMONT, Pa. – On Monday night Rosemont senior Justin Chaney (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) became the first man in Rosemont’s four-year program to enter Rosemont’s 1,000 point scoring club. His 1,000th point came as he converted a free throw on the back end of a standard three-point play with 4:39 left in the first half against Keystone College. Chaney’s 1,000th point fittingly was scored on Senior Night.

Chaney came into the game with 995 points, needing five points to reach the 1,000-point plateau. He scored 16 in the game and he now stands at 1,011 career points with one game remaining in the season. Chaney led his team in scoring in 2010/2011, averaging 14.6 points per game and scoring 364 points.

Chaney’s point scoring in his four-year career at Rosemont are as follows:

2012/2013: 151 points (9.4/game) – 1 game remaining, 2011/2012: 292 points (11.7/game), 2010/2011: 364 points (14.6/game), 2009/2010: 204 points (8.2/game).
