ASTON, Pa. - Rosemont sophomore Liz Coyne (West Chester, Pa./Downingtown West) had the honor of being selected to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) First Team. Coyne, along with teammate Ashley Montecchio, are the first Rosemont players to be named to the conference's First Team since Katie Linder in 2006-2007.

Last year's CSAC Rookie-of-the-Year, proved there was certainly no "sophomore slump" for this sophomore in 2012-2013. Coyne had a tremendous season, ranked near the top in various statistics nationally (NCAA Division III). Coyne is ranked 11th in points per game, averaging 21.1. She also has impressive rankings for Double-Doubles (4th), Rebounds Per Game (19th) and Field-Goal Percengage (38th).

Coyne left her mark within the conference this season, leading the CSAC in rebounding and in Offensive Rebounds, finishing 2nd in scoring, 3rd in Field Goal Percentage, 3rd in Defensive Rebounds, 7th in Free Throw Percentage, 7th in minutes played and 9th in steals.

Coyne surpassed the standing Rosemont record for points scored in a single season, pouring in 528 points in 2012-2013. The standing record was set in 2000-2001 by Ekaterina Markova, scoring 499 points.

Her career scoring total to-date stands at 997 points, just three points shy of the 1,000-point plateau. If she scores her 1,000th point in the post-season, she would be the first Rosemont player to join the 1,000-point club in only her sophomore year.
