Rosemont, PA – 18 Rosemont student-athletes were included in this year’s Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) All-Academic Team for the fall of 2007. The team is comprised of fall-sport student-athletes who managed a GPA of 3.2 or higher for the semester while maintaining varsity status. 500 PAC student-athletes made the cut this fall. Of the 18 Rosemont student-athletes to make the list, 8 were from field hockey, while 5 were from volleyball and 5 from tennis.
From the field hockey team, senior Kristen Reilly (Pottstown, PA/Boyertown), junior Alain Murphy (Avalon, NJ/Middle Township), sophomores Mary Kate Dugan (Upper Darby, PA/Upper Darby), Elizabeth Kemp (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown), Laura Kyle (Doylestown, PA/CB East), Nichole Liccio (Mantua, NJ/Friends Select) and Disha Shah (East Meadow, NY/East Meadow) as well as first year Ashley Conti (Little Falls, NJ/Passaic Valley) all made the cut.
Representing on the volleyball team were seniors Blair Armstrong (Philadelphia, PA/Little Flwoer) and Andrea Boyle (Swarthmore,PA/Cardinal O’Hara), sophomores Jessica Demaskey (West Chester, PA/West Chester East) and Tofunmi Osundeko (DuBois, PA/DuBois), and first year Karen Boyle (Swarthmore, PA/Archbishop Prendergast).
The tennis team had seniors Kristy Bannon (Hanover Township, Pa/Hanover), Joanne Campbell (Bryn Mawr, PA/Sacred Heart), and Heather Kocher (Croydon, PA/Truman) as well as junior Jessica Williams (Ardmore, PA/Archbishop Carroll) and first year Tierney Veliz (Sparra, NJ/Pope John XXIII) representing.
