Record-Breaking Week for Montecchio Earns Player-of-the-Week Recognition

ASTON, Pa. – Senior Ashley Montecchio (Aston, Pa.) is in the zone. Montecchio filled the stat sheet for the Ravens who finished 1-1 for the week, averaging 33.5 points, thirteen rebounds, and four blocked shots. In Tuesday’s defeat to Lancaster Bible, she eclipsed a 21-year old Rosemont record by scoring 37 points, while also adding game-highs with 12 rebounds, five steals, and three blocks. In Thursday’s 71-60 CSAC win over Centenary, Montecchio led all players with 30 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks.

This makes the second consecutive week when Montecchio was recognized by the conference as she was named to the CSAC Player-of-the-Week Honor Roll last week.
