Rosemont Athletics Supports Cornelian Services Corps in Benefit

Rosemont Athletics and its student organization, RSAAC, are co-sponsoring a food and clothing drive at the women's and men's Ravens basketball season-opening doubleheader on Thursday, November 15. In recognition of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, the Office of Campus Ministry is collecting non-perishable food items for three of its community partners

  • Our Mother of Sorrows Soup Kitchen,
  • St. Francis Inn. and
  • Homework Club of The Providence Center

Additionally, clothing donations are being collected for Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts. 

Non-perishable food items - includes canned goods, boxed food, etc. 

Non-perishable snack foods - boxed crackers, granola bars, raisins, dried fruits, jugs or cans of juice (for The Providence Center students)

Clothing - New and/or gently used winter clothes (men, women, and children sizes), coats (also, men women and children sizes), and baby items

All items collected at the basketball doubleheader will be donated to the three charities.

Rosemont Athletics hopes that you think of those in need of food and shelter as we approach this upcoming holiday season and that you bring donations to this benefit.
