Rosemont Dedicates New Ravens Athletic Complex

ROSEMONT, Pa. – Rosemont College administrators, alumni, staff, students and friends of the College gathered under an unseasonably hot sun this “Family Weekend” Saturday afternoon to formally dedicate the Rosemont College’s new athletic complex, officially named the Ravens Athletic Complex.

The welcoming speech was given by Richard E. Geschke, Chair of Rosemont College’s Board of Trustees, followed by opening remarks from College President Sharon Latchaw Hirsh, Ph.D. ’70. Director of Athletics Lynn Rothenhoefer greeted the gathering before the blessing was given by Sr. Jeanne Marie Hatch, SHCJ, the College’s VP for Mission and Ministry.

Renny the Raven and student-athletes representing many of Rosemont’s athletic teams were in attendance to witness the ribbon cutting ceremony.
