ROSEMONT, Pa. - Several Rosemont student-athletes were acknowledged for their postive contribution and impact on their alma mater at Rosemont's 2011 Founders' Day on April 14 in Cardinal Hall. Founders' Day is an annual institutional celebration at Rosemont College that recognizes individuals and groups who best represent the Mission of the College.
An entertaining video, "The Cornelia Connelly Project" was presented early in the festivities. Rosemont student-athletes Barbara Lally, Ashley Montecchio and Ron Vogelei were all given kudos for their efforts in producing the video.
Rosemont's Provost, William Harvey announced the Dean of Students Awards, one for each class. Of the four classes, three of the winners were Rosemont student-athletes. Winning for the Class of 2014 was Klarisse Torriente; Class of 2013 was Ron Vogelei and the Class of 2011 was Greg Gardner.
