ASTON, Pa. - The Colonial States Athletic Conference has announced the Fall 2012 recipients of the CSAC 3-D Award, which honors the teams from each sport that best exemplified the NCAA Division-III principles of “Discover, Develop, Dedicate.”
The Rosemont women's cross country team earned the institution's first CSAC 3-D Award. The Raven women finished ahead of second-place Baptist Bible, with Neumann and Gwynedd-Mercy tying for third.
The 3-D Award was developed prior to the 2011 academic year by the CSAC’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Following each conference contests, participating teams were asked to evaluate their opponents based on the three aforementioned Division-III principles, giving a rating of 1-10 in each “D” category.
