ROSEMONT, Pa. - The Rosemont College Department of Athletics is pleased to welcome Jonah Fliegelman as the new Head Coach of their Women's Tennis program.

Fliegelman graduated from American University with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. Rosemont's Director of Athletics, Lynn Rothenhoefer commented on the hiring, "Jonah is a perfect match to take over our women's tennis program.  He is a quality player with true coaching pedigree.  He values education through competition and has created a new enthusiasm through mastering fundamentals and battling with passion."

Prior to accepting the position at Rosemont, Fliegelman was the Head Tennis Pro at the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education Center where he also was an Instructor. He was also an instructor for the National Junior Tennis League and the La Salle University Tennis Camp. Before that, Fliegelman was the Tennis Teaching Professional at Cedarbrook Country Club in Lansdale, Pa. and Frog Hollow Racquet Club.

The Department of Athletics has also announced that David Topor will be its Assistant Coach of Women's Tennis. Topor hails from North Wales, Pa. Rothenhoefer added, "I'm excited that Dave has joined Jonah in our program.  He brings a hunger for knowledge of the game.  Their mutual love of tennis, and 2-3 years of experience together on the court, that will help create a great team atmosphere for our program."

Topor's background in tennis instruction includes working for the last three years as a Tennis Coach at the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education Center.
